You are absolutely right on lobbying efforts. ** When it comes to lobbying there is a group in the US, that goes to great lengths to unite Evangelists’ and Jewish lobbies.** They make sure their efforts and causes are aligned. Of late that unity is strained, once that unity is broken, the policy shift will be very quick. And Palestinians will be the big beneficiaries.

Although the media tries to portray the chill in US-israeli relations to personality conflict between their leaders, I do believe it is an indication of change in US policy. Clearly US and Israeli interests are diverging and with reduced dependence on Mideast oil ( and soon to be fulfilled by Iranian one ), any President that follows Obama will be less inclined to go back to the old ways.

Agree.. I think this is part of an ongoing trend, tho it’s moving slowly..

I often wonder why Muslims aren’t so effective in lobbying in the West.. There are a fair number of us in Europe and the US so in theory it shouldn’t be difficult.. Are we too disorganised, too divided amongst ourselves or just don’t have the will to do it?
