The portion between Gulhsan-e-Iqbal and Drigh Road (now Gulistan-e-Jauhaur) was an empty one - after monsoon rains, they would lush green and small lakes used to appear there - a niche for Karachi’s flora and fauna! Very good view and journeys I had in the late 70’s and early 80’s (and as well botanical collection on that landscape)!
