This is completely silly. You say, or wherever you copy/pasted from, says:

Uh, do you know that many Hajj rituals were the same rituals practiced by pagans? And do you know the Prophet changed the intentions but kept a semblance of the old rituals? You can say it can be traced farther to Abraham, but lets not forget that Pagans corrupted it. Therefore, why do we circle the Kabah during Hajj and Umrah?

This incident is very remarkable in that it shows us muslims that the weight an act holds is very much rooted in the intentions behind it.

Giving your loved one a gift and an appreciative thank-you at least ONE day of the year (God knows how so well many of you do that on a DAILY basis!), should not be an issue. No one is raping women or selling them off for a night during the Present Day Valentine’s day. If you’re going to protest it, at least do it on some sound ground like its just an excuse for people to make money, or something of the sort.

Have you read history of Hajj? Why we do the things we do? lol, Islam is built on pagan rituals?
Well, Its ok, you may continue following pagan rituals. :k: May Allah have mercy on us all.

If you cannot in any way imitate non-Muslims nor show them any loyalty or love, please stop using our technolgoy, speaking our language, living in our countries and mooching off our economies.

In the meantime, have a piece of chocolate, give your girl some flowers and chill out. I promise, it will not make you one of them, just as speaking their language and incorporating their technology does not.

If a person isn’t sane or knowledgable enough to differentiate the good and the bad ‘imitations’ then its his loss.

Islam opposes shirk, which these rituals are linked too. Paganism and Islam are on polar ends.

And as far as it goes for technology etc, I dont see it being linked to a pagan ritual, hmm! Infact, computers today wouldn’t be where htey are if it wasn’t for Islamic contribution to science.

Also, islam teaches you to love your significant other EVERY second of your married life, not assign it to one day, where everyone gets tippy toes on pleasing their partner while further booming the economy.

How oblivious can one be? tsk tsk.
