One more thing about the Oreck...when you order it, they always throw in something for "free". Its a cordless steam iron or an air purifier...or a small vacuum with all attachments for stairs, corners and upholstery. You can request that they send this little vacuum instead of the other things. Its a lovely little vac, with little hepa bags just like the upright. And even if you return the upright after the 30-day trial, you get to keep the gift.

it's not that hard, just open up a garbage bag and put the container in it and voila.. no dust nothing.
depends if it is a bagkless with a filter and you also have to clean the filter it gets dodgy

And, emptying the container is not that bad. The opening is on the bottom so when you press the release button it releases straight in the garbage can and the dust never goes anywhere except in the trash. Speaking from experience!!
And, their prices have gone down too.

there is still enoyugh concentrated fine dust that comes out that it is enough to cause allergies.
I have dustr allergies, so I pop in an allergy pill when i have to do anything that will generate dust.
