I know trouser is for 2500 .unstiched suties are for 1690 (3 piece)
the ones with a chiffon dupatta are more expensive.

Re: V9 Lawn Prints 2009.
there are no more tailors charging 200rs for a suit.it's minimum 250rs per suit with no piping,no lace done.they charge 50rs extra for only piping and 150-200rs extra if you want pants sewn rather than a shalwar.
^ true. rs.200 for stitching would be really hard to find these days. prices in PK have really gone up for everything!
Re: V9 Lawn Prints 2009.
yeah.my tailor charges 600rs per shalwar suit for a suit stitched with lining and 750rs for a lining wala suit with pants..and suit means shirt and shalwar/pants only.100-200rs for dupatta pipings, etc.
Re: V9 Lawn Prints 2009.
hmm i went to back in dec-jan and our tailors stiched for that much, and they were really good about piping and neatness, although it's true they add extra for pico. I even had them sew this really complicated lace on this silk dupatta and shirt and they didn't charge that much extra. i was happily suprised the tailors were so cheap but i'm talkin about pindi so i dunno about other places.
Re: V9 Lawn Prints 2009.
^ I think tailors in pindi are cheapers than lahore-karachi .
there are good tailors in Pindi ![]()
where is ur tailor suited?
Re: V9 Lawn Prints 2009.
^
I dont know many tailors in pindi but I have heared about a few in scheme 3 and some who does embroidery+ sticthing in kamran market.
Re: V9 Lawn Prints 2009.
yea i have no idea where anything is in pak so i dun really know, but our darzi's are walking distance from my cousin's house, and there's like a ton of darzi's there. we had so many clothes we had to split btwn the 2 that were next 2 each other(and we knew) so they started hating each other and competing it was pretty amusing.
anyhoo, i ordered lawn from prototype so mayb her darzi's are worth the price-- i'll have to wait and see :)

You know--as long as the outfits are sewn with perfect fitting and they give it on time, I wouldn't mind paying that much. It's still not as insane as the charges here in US. I've gone to only cheap tailors in Pak, and their fitting is okay..nothing special.
Re: V9 Lawn Prints 2009.
I went to maria b lawn display today.Prints were good but they all had borders at bottom and width of shirt was max 38 inch long shirt & 2.25m for dupatta..not enough fabric..and all of them had a chiffon dupatta.price range:some were for 1650rs.some for 1750 and some 1800. overall:maza Nahin aya.
looking forward to sobia nazir's exhibition now which is on 15-17th march.let me know if anyone wants her prints.

Re: V9 Lawn Prints 2009.
:) which ones?
does that mean shorter shirts are coming back in fashion?
i'm not really interested in the 5 out of 9 pics that you see on her FB group since i'm not a fan of big flowery prints. i don't know what the other 4 look like so i can't say anything about that. please take pics of those unavailable online if possible. thanks.
i liked a couple from her last year's collection, though.
Re: V9 Lawn Prints 2009.
no.I have seen women wearing shirt touching their ankles.it's just that I guess they didnt take their lawns seriously.didnt advertise much abt it either.I was only one there this afternoon.the lady at the counter didnt know how much the suit was for and how much did it measure.and i did confirm it was first day of her so called exhibition and tomorrow is the last day!
honestly speaking I liked last year’s prints better and she has only pics at her fb group (dont know what others look like) but do get me these if you can ![]()
That is gorgeous, i love the way the crochet on the sleeves is carried through to the bottom of the dress, very nice attention to detail.
Re: V9 Lawn Prints 2009.
Cant wait to see the Sobia Nazir lawn prints....:)
