^ Pakistan govt has been doing a balancing act between the extremists/jehadis and the West for a long time now. Its just a question of who is pulling the strings at the current moment. Going by the recent developments, it is obvious the US pressure is pretty high and they have had to accept Pakistani involvement in 26/11. That is bound to pi$$ off the jehadis and their supporters in Pak.
