US Presidential Debates 2004

He would throw Kerry Pedro Martinez fast balls as opposed to the under-inflated beach balls he threw to Bush. Some of the questions were tough but the less than thorough answers Bush gave went unchallenged. And what independents? They don't watch O'Reilly. C'mon, the only ones who call themselves independent and watch his show are as independent as O'Reilly - in name only.

hahahahaha

Lynne Cheney Jokes About Kerry’s Tan

DULUTH, Minn. - Something about Sen. John Kerry (news - web sites)'s darker appearance has caught Lynne Cheney’s eye.

During a campaign stop with her husband, a group of volunteers moved into the crowd with microphones for the question-and-answer period. Vice President Dick Cheney (news - web sites) told supporters to look for the people with dark orange shirts.

When Cheney paused as if searching for the words to describe the shade of orange, Lynne Cheney said, “How about John Kerry’s suntan?”

The remark drew a big laugh from the crowd and the vice president.

Responding to her comments, Kerry campaign spokesman Bill Burton said, “Is Mrs. Cheney jealous considering how hard it is to get sun in the undisclosed location with her husband Dick? Or is she distracted over how red-in-the-face George Bush (news - web sites) should be considering his failed presidency?”

Debate just started, how come Kerry is looking at Lehrer and Bush is looking at the camera? Because Bush is reading from teleprompter. He is mumbling when he has to say something not on the screen

Bush just said “off course I know that Usama Bin Ladin didn’t attack us”. Kerry looked at him and had a sarcastic smile like “What the heck is he talking about?”
Bush is so nervous that he misspoke and said Usama Bin Ladin instead of Saddam Hussain. It will be in the news tomorrow everywhere. :rotfl:

Bush keeps babbling about how kerry changes his position, and that ‘wrong war, wrong time’ thing giving conflicting messages to the armed forces, and Kerry did very well to explain his stance, repeatedly. Good Job Senator! :k:

Thoroughly enjoyed it and have finaly left tired of watching Bush’s dumb expressions, his nervous and confused remarks and finally drinking from an empty glass of water
:rotfl:

Can’t wait for Leno and Conan’s comments

bush completely outclassed!

A Canadian Televison Poll:

Kerry wins this debate hands down.

Kerry 1

Bush 0

It was very annoying how Bush kept referring to Kerry's mixed signals. EVen a dumb idiot like him should have gotten it by now. He doesn;t agree to how the war was initiated but now that it has happened it needs to be taken care of! How difficult is that? Even for a dimwit like Bush? He must have repeated the same statement some 20 times or more. Practically in every rebuttal/attack! Ughhhh. So annoying.

One of the greatest drawbacks Bush has is that he himself seems least convinced of his statements, as if he is just saying them for the sake of saying them.

Bush had no other points accept criticizing Kerry’s inconsistencies. Kerry looked confidant and Bush looked nervous and lost.

That’s what happens when you depend on teleprompter. Did you guys notice how confident Bush was while answering first question while looking straight at the screen? It was all down fall for Bush after that. As the debate progressed he looked more nervous and dumbfounded

Bush amuses me. Did anyone catch when he said "now lemme lemme finish" , the light was green and no one had interrupted him.

CNN, one of many polls, show Kerry wins hands down.
Bush 12%
Kerry 84%

:rotfl:

Also what is wrong with this guy .to me he looks like a parrot. He says same things again and again on a day whatver has been suggested to him by his advisor.
Few months back it was “We are truninng the corner”
Today It was “What kinda mixed signal” …
" We are working Hard"… “It is tough job”..

grows some brain cells and stop telling same thing which has been shoved down your throat.
