US media applauds destruction of Fallujah

Firstly I want to say that majority of replies are sounding rather bias.....

Secondly I want to say that topic title itself perhaps a bit bias???

What do we in our armchairs sitting around punching at the keyboard in our nice warm homes with our full stomachs know about life in Fallujah?

Or war for that matter?

Some are full of rightious indignity at the very thought of innocent people dying.

Some are full of rightious indignity over insinuations that the U.S. military in Fallujah would purposefully take the life of an innocent Fallujahan.

We forget that rightious indignity rightfully belong to the families of the people killed and maimed. Whether they are Iraqi or otherwise.

We forget that rightious indignity rightfully belong to the families who have lost their homes and way of earning a living.

I agree that civilian casualties and the destruction of homes and businesses in Fallujah has been lacking in news stories.

I also think media has made light of military casualties. Whether they are Iraqi policemen or American G.I.'s the media ignores the impact on the families.

Perhaps right now for journalists..Fallujah is simply too dangerous.

Amerikkkan Journalists are partner in crime with the terrorist pigs in the US military!

don't make excuses for them please spare us that drivel!

ak47,

I would point out that your very post reaks of bias against U.S. military.

And thats ok.

I do need to ask you this though.

Do you think those kids really want to be in Fallujah???? They are there because the government ordered them there. Don't you think if they had a choice they would rather be out dancing at a disco in Casa San Lucas? I do.

What about the [renegades?] in Fallajah who kill other Iraqi's? Don't you think civilians also suffer harm by those actions?

Since this amerikkkan pig has been intimidated by the great intellectual prowess of the brilliant and always articulate postser above, I instead would like to offer a salute to the US military for its freeing Fallujah from the grasps of terrorists.

:Salute:

YOu mean the US foot soldiers?! They are still there...see it urself.

Avr amer girl

Ok i can see in your posts you are trying to be fair.

and yes you are right that i am biased against US military because they are biggest terrorist organisation in the world.

If the amerikkans stay out of muslim affairs i dont care what they do but since your government insist on occupying other peoples countries than dont expect people welcoming them with flowers as your Government likes to lie to you about.

And also i agree most of these GI joe young kids with Guns dont want to be in Fallujah but the reality is they are there and the reality is they are killing civillians!

your Government is labelling iraqis as insurgents and rebels when the fact is the Amerikkkans are the occupiers and the ones in the wrong!

even your own post you call the iraqis rengagdes what is up with that you are the real renegades in other peoples countries who are you to call them renegades!

Even the daily bombardment from your media has fooled you into legitimising the Amerikkan occupation and making you think the iraqis are wrong for defending there own country!

When Amerikkka is occupied i wonder who you will be calling renegades the occupiers or the occupied!

I don't think its ok to clap for death.

Don't think anyone will argue with you on that one!

Well I used the word renegade...because I have issue calling them insurgents or terrorists. Probobly not the right word to use.

Is my opinion Bush administration instrumental in creating angst toward American people and his policy toward Iraq is a failure and wrong.

Is my nature to find empathy to all involved.

I don't know how to go about making a wrong right.

I can understand Iraqi and Muslim anger at the situation.

I think it would be wrong for the U.S. military to leave Iraq this moment..because I think that would increase the harm to the Iraqi people.

I think we owe the Iraqi people at minimum..some sort of infrastructure.

Could be that I am wrong and entire Iraqi population conciders U.S. as
occupiers...I am fearful for those Iraqi police. Iraqi bravehearts that took on the job of creating stability for fellow Iraqi's must have a reason beyond cash?? I would think??

“There is revulsion over car bombings and beheadings by Sunni Muslim insurgents, carnage that seems to have curbed the anger of many Shiites over the U.S. attack on Sunni rebels in Fallujah.”

AK47 is right. The only terrorists and insurgents here are the US invaders.

It's ironic that the victim here becomes the perpetrator, even though the authority is preaching a victims orientated approach!
