US lied to Britain over use of napalm in Iraq war

Re: US lied to Britain over use of napalm in Iraq war

yes, pretending not to use napalm but instead happily using something "remarkably similar" (your link) is just so - how should i put it? - fashionable in America these days it would seem...

Re: US lied to Britain over use of napalm in Iraq war

I have no problem using napalm in the circumstances described, nor any reformulated version of the same. The problem really is not the "napalm" which is just one technology. The problem is using napalm near civilians, which of course was never the question. Which really is the point isn't it? All of this "controversy" simply becomes more Anti-American propaganda at some point doesn't it? Of course the Brits couldn't screw up (despite articles otherwise), it must be the demon Americans. The real point is that resurrecting this controversy serves to reopen a debate on "napalm" and demonize the US military. It's pretty transparent.

Re: US lied to Britain over use of napalm in Iraq war

look the US lies constantly even to its allies why can't the dimwit rightingers even admit this, its becoming a joke even posting facts these days. Next thing they going to deny they used Nuclear bombs in Japan twice!

Re: US lied to Britain over use of napalm in Iraq war

OG, it's not the Brits dropping napalm and then lying about it... the US military does a pretty good job demonising itself as is obvious except, it seems, to Homer Simpson wannabes
