The congressman should just jump off a cliff. Wth does Balochistan issue have to do with him? It’s an internal Pakistani matter.

Balochistan will never be independent due to its geo-political significance. It is bordered by Iran and Afghanistan.

A) Shia Iran hates Sunni Baluchistan. Iran would never go against Pakistan in this respect if anything they need what little support Pakistan can provide.
b) Afghanistan is not strong enough and couldn’t support the BLA and co even if they wanted to as Taliban control that region and don’t get on with Balochis
C) Pakistan is naturally against any secession.

In the end it will remain an inherently failed province and the only thing that will happen is more killings and violence.

Rohrbachar probably receives some funding from an Indian lobby group. Thats usually the case.

No one in Washington really cares about what goes in the region beyond lip service, as long as it doesn’t directly affect American interests.
