Re: US Chinook helicopter goes down in Afghanistan
In one battle in World War II, the Battle of the Bulge, the US had 81,000 casualties, 19,000 of which were dead. The casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan ,while tragic, are not nearly in the numbers that the US has experienced in other wars. Do not think that bad casualties on any given day will change our national resolve.
