Re: US body urges "aggressive action" against S Arabia
saudi dynasty princes have stolen the wealth of the entire nation why dont they chop their hands off first?
they are so islamic when it comes to certain things but what about a kingship is that allowed in islam?
Re: US body urges "aggressive action" against S Arabia
"As for the thief, both male and female, cut off their hands. It is the reward of their own deeds, an exemplary punishment from Allah." (Surah al-Ma'idah, 38).
yea i guess they do need to step into the 21st century - keeping the world in mind.
they're not always that extreme - im sure living in ksa - you know about blood money and paying off what you stole.
question here is though: how does the US get to make the decision of reform?
Re: US body urges "aggressive action" against S Arabia
Good point. They should be thrown onto the streets for being the great liars and cheaters that they are. the ibn Saud family are descendants of the Banu Khurayza. I think that speaks for itself.
I believe Kingdoms are allowed in Islam, only because its system of governance is more similar to a khilafat than a democracy. But a Kingdom must acknowledge its Islamic duties. Obviously this kingdom of KSA is clearly astray, that is agreed.
Re: US body urges "aggressive action" against S Arabia
i agree they really are lacking some principles of islam.
Saudi laws are a hodge-podge of personal choices of "royal" family, mutawwa-group (clergy) and they are different for royal family, different for local Saudis and different for foreigners. They only use name of "Sharia" and call themselves "Islamic" just like we do in Pakistan.
Re: US body urges "aggressive action" against S Arabia
^ PBH, no personal insults. Some people lived in Saudi Arabia with their parents, in that case they don't have much choice, like myself. Now that I look back at the time I spent there, I really would've loved to live in Pakistan instead.
Re: US body urges "aggressive action" against S Arabia
still, why would a freedom loving family of M2k live in the country which they hate ? Nobody forced anybody to go and live in saudi arabia.
My views could be very contradicting/conflicting with my father's, no? For example he could be all praise for Jamaat-e-Islami and I could be anti-Jamat, no?
