US asks Pakistan to abandon gas project with Iran

Re: US asks Pakistan to abandon gas project with Iran

just wondering, does any know how much cheaper would the gas be if it tranported via pipeline rather then ships??

Re: US asks Pakistan to abandon gas project with Iran

So uncle SAM using Pakistan to be bad guy................. :D

Re: US asks Pakistan to abandon gas project with Iran

Typical Bharati wet dreamz.

Bharat and Pakistan both are utterly dependent on Uncle Sam's good graces. They both need to avoid playing brother-brother under the hood-hood with Iran. Kapeesh!

Re: US asks Pakistan to abandon gas project with Iran

Janab, as I recomended earlier, it would be wise to be knowledgeable on the subject on which you speak. As gentlemen engaged in civilized polemics, I suggest using www.google.com and reading some articles, particularly Indian, on the matter.

Re: US asks Pakistan to abandon gas project with Iran

Oye India obsessed Soul… We can do without attention from you…Yeh India kanha say aa gayee ismey…
Now let me make you understand… Please read whatyou said..
***Once Uncle Sam says no to a project, the cost goes up dramatically. Why because you have to buy parts from the black market. ***

So sit back and relax. No pap-line until a green signal comes down from DC.

So without a yes, from Uncle SAM no pipeline…
Still uncle SAM asks Pakistan to say NO..
WHY???
Inference - It wants Pakistan to look bad…

Now please keep your wet pants to yourself… and for sometime get logic centric…
If you still didn’t understand my above argument please ask specifically what common sensical point you didn’t understand so that I can clarify… :naraz:

Re: US asks Pakistan to abandon gas project with Iran

Bharatis try to find $hite where there is none.

Read the news. It quotes Pakistani official where US has asked Pakistan something. That's not a big problem until Bharatis want to have some wet dreamz.

Re: US asks Pakistan to abandon gas project with Iran

I was just working on your posts.......... It could have been any country.... lekin
Tereko nahin samajh mein aayega......... leave it..........:D

Re: US asks Pakistan to abandon gas project with Iran

since you did not provide a source for your information, i will consider it to be void of any accuracy.

i did search for news on the india-iran pipeline. now it seems very likely that the deal is dead … because of U.S. pressure on both pakistan and india.

india is now pursuing a turkmenistan-afghanistan-pakistan-india pipeline as an alternative. this pipeline will require pakistan’s assistance. without pakistan, this deal is dead.

Re: US asks Pakistan to abandon gas project with Iran

what is so good about the so called Major non-nato ally status ? it is just a status and has no benefits.

Nobody in India “jumped up and down” when Pakistan got the status.

Uncle Sam has already offered India f-18 jets, Patriot defence system and of course the nooooook deal.

Pakistan in return got soybeans and more pats on the back. Uncle sam is going to through away pakistan like a used condom, when this so called “war on te-roooor” is over. Then they would put a presler amendment like sanctions like they did in the 1990’s.

Pakistan should do what ever it is in its interest. The gas project is between Iron and pakistan. It is not uncle sam’s business and uncle sam should stay the hell out of it.

Re: US asks Pakistan to abandon gas project with Iran

I'm not sure what to laugh at more, your analysis or how you keep calling Iran "Iron" to mimic the persian accent.

Oh Baacha loag, do a google first before crying your brave (but very weak) heart out in the GS.

Every treaty has it's good and bad aspects. However even Bharatis were upset at the ally status for Pakistan. Heck Bharatis were kept in the dark until the deal was announced in Islamabad.

Hats off to Colin Powell.
