Just with family at home, eating drinking and just enjoying the happy atmosphere! My favourite way to spend it! Maybe visit a few neighbours in the 2nd/3rd days!

we went for namaaz and in the evening we have been invited by my niece in another city…between now and evening time, we are expecting a few guests for lunch. we live in a small town way away from any bigger desi community so it’s a bit boring though.
i wish i was in India as planned

I know how it feels to live in a small town away from a bigger desi community! In our wee town in Ireland, there was always enough muslims for namaz, but very few and sometimes no desi people, so we never properly clicked with anyone!

**yeah...i used to live on campus hundreds of miles away from home in India so i was mostly homesick. i used to visit home once or twice a month but still i used to be miserable.
my Dad used to tell us if you have loved ones in your heart, you will never be alone! :)
