This another phenomenon i am seeing in the poor countries.
That of increasing consumerism. People of poor countries now have access to and are buying brands that were previously only seen in rich areas. Now we can find all types of mobiles, KFC, Mac and Gucci all around the globe, despite broken roads, filthy streets and collapse of healthcare and social welfare system.
