there is an option in Browse/search link up in the menu bar to use "username" - that is Gupshup username... once, you find the Gs id there... (or alternatively if you see that nick on GUPSHUP, you will see the link to allDost profile under their nick) go to the profile by clicking on it and on the right menu, click on "add as friend" option.
