As far as I know, they are constructing a rail line and highways along the Western route. But lets be honest, Balochistan is a mess from a security standpoint. Would any trucker with any sense want to drive through there?!?!? Would anyone want to risk sending supplies if there is a risk of the rail track being blown up? Despite this, they are still building the Western route.
What exactly should they be building along the western route besides a Highway and a rail road line? most of the countries population is on the Eastern side.
