The worst part is when they shake hands with you after coming out of the bathroom. After that, I have to wash my hands rahgar rahgar ke :(

Exactly.. you only have to see how many desi (and turkish) restaurants get into trouble for bad hygiene practices..

(But obviously rather than poo it tends to be cockroaches, flies around food etc..)

i dont know about this.. i don't hang around in the restroom area too long but what really annoys me is a lot of older desi males, my dad included, make these crazy sounds with water in their mouth and throat, followed by retching noises. ahhhhhhhhhhh even thinking about it makes me want to flee the area asap.

Ewww,gross.

But you know,I read somewhere that the crisps and nuts at bars (not that I frequent these places) are often saturated with nasties and should be avoided at all costs....

How these people can not wash their hands is beyond me..

Also, I read a study once about how a lot of money (notes) have traces of it. And also traces of drugs :/

But desis and turks are dirty people.

The point of my thread was why a lot of goray, despite of being aware of hygiene, especially after using bathroom and having all the cleaning equipments right there, still don't care to wash their hands.

It maybe is a weird concern, but I really want to know why this is.

PS: I would eat in a desi/turk/muslim restuarant any time instead of a gora one.

I trust the first group more when it comes to respect for food.

well I've heard it's because since they use tissue paper to clean themselves, they dont' actually touch anything with their hands so they don't feel a need to wash their hands. and then they feel there are more germs on the door handle. I dunno, it's really gross...

what about air borne germs?? their hands are in the vicinity…and there could be accidental touches…
