Could either patience or love be the solution?

Well, was your professor referring to the strained economy? And how the stress of resulting issues such as unemployment/rising prices/money management seeps into our relationships and interactions with one another? I feel like people are more into looking out for themselves...even if it comes at the expense of others. We could analyze things and come up with numerous factors...but the fact remains that life will always be unpredictable and uncertain....even when things aren't so bad.

strained economy was also one major element with other things like one's safety, employment (students who belong to well off families but still worried because they are facing the issue of unemployment), materialism, terrorism and wars against terrorism, natural catastrophes etc..
some parents, she said, are worried because they are trying their best to provide their kids with good brought up and education and all the necessities of life but still their children forget the values and norms they were been taught during childhood.
Children complain that their parents are not giving them proper time because both of them are busy in making money..but on the other hand they complain that their needs are not being accommodated. Everyone is in rush. and so many other things too.

and nothing but anxiety/stress is resulting from all these things.

my question is, as you said life will always remain unpredictable, and it has always been. but old folks were much more satisfy with their lives, then we are not?

i cant live with uncertainty, i just make quick decision to overcome it no matter positive or negative results i get,

@bbeats - not a bad strategy! Sometimes not being able to make a decision is a real drag. Just dont use such a strategy in investments though, but I digress (sorry mods)
