this was a very vague and general statement made by me 
but different people have different notions. Some live in a fantasy world with romance the only leading notion in their head. Others believe that dominating their SO would be their ultimate goal. Others think that it would be a lifetime of compromises and imprisonment.
And only when a person gets married when they know how different life now is . 
(oh and none of these statements reflect me or my married life lol)
