Sorry, but i really don't understand. Stop twisting facts, please. Just because Saddam Hussein is a freaking moron, you believe it's okay to sanction the entire country. Well, sorry, but Dubya being a freaking moron does not mean that it's alright to kill American children for that. Study the reports that i have posted in this forum ten billion times before you state that Saddam Hussein was responsible for the killings caused due to the sanctions. As i have stated in this forum to all of the American guppies, it was not the primary fault of Hussein's regime. If you aren't going to be bothered to read that up on your own on UN websites, then this discussion might as well stop at this point.

And he did hinder the work of weapons inspectors and threw them out.

How conveniently you didn't refer to my point about which country was harassing Blix and his team to leave the country. Which govt. was showing a lack of patience towards Blix ? Any guesses ?

Of course, one would assume he did this since he had something to hide.

oh yes, one would assume this because afterall we have discovered heaps and heaps of evidence of biological, nuclear and chemical weapons right? They're all sitting all over Baghdad, i saw the pictures on BBC this morning. All the evidence that was claimed to be there, is there. Right ?

*But do you care about the half a million or so Iraqis killed by Saddam? *
[/QUOTE]
Are you for real ? Half a million were killed by the US, due to their endorsement of the genocidal sanctions regime. Please stop believing everything you read on the State Department website. United Nations reports contain a tad bit more objectivity and less bias.
