That might be the reason! You know Hamas and Fatah are like enemies to each other. I really hate both of them for their enimosity especially under the delicate circumstances.
But this is why they snatched it. Otherwise there is sufficient evidence of how Hamas helps out the fellow Palestinians.. (except those from Fatah )
