i watched it , same old story .Heroine living in a small house with family ,study with elite class......elder sister is waiting for a proposal. Got it?

i watched it. I liked it. direction of it is better than ZGH. ZGH was terribly directed (sorry Sultana Aunty). the story seems similar to other khwateen digest stories. but I don;t this story line has ever been dramatized.

so i liked it and I will recommend it.

Akheer hee farigh story!! As expected the rich family is shown as selfish and mutlabi and te poor family the mazloom bechari. Boooooooo doesnt umera get tired of churning the same crap. Here are my two cebts about what stood out in episode 1:
- poor family is a bunch of whiny losers who had unreal expectations of getting the eldest sister married to her cousin
- eldest sister is a creepy stalker who's been collecting /stealing her cousin's pictures and fantasizing about him( God knows what else she's been doing with those pix.... YUK !)
- poor Aba has the fakest looking stubble in the history of entertainment. The person who did his makeup should consider changing professions
- the rich maaadern aunt is a complete paindoo! I mean seriously whih liberty ada designed her maaadern outfit ?
- Sanam baloch is annoying

sanam was the only class student jis nay itna makeup keeya huwa tha, aur itrni mu phat tauba hai..

hmm. well i actually kinda like it. i see many differences in this compared to other umera stuff i have seen.

the poor family...is not the poorest thing...and we shouldnt even call them poor, no where is that stated...they're a normal, pakistani family. yes that's how most people there live. they've got a father that works, a house, kids studying and seem semi well-off.

the characters are new and different. and there is many more characters...more families involved.

seems like a complex one to me. and might highlight the issue of physical abuse.

rich family is NOT shown as selfish or bad...just aloof to what the not as rich family had desired. theyre in their own world, doing their own thing.

Sanam Baloch's new serial Kankar

Actually I kind of like this one. Hopes Umera Ahmed saves face after zgh. Which was on downward spiral. I blame it on poor direction and greediness. It became a soap instead of drama towards the end.

This one might be more interesting.
