Motus I don't think anyone in pakistan would wear tht, I personally cant even think about wearing them anywhere in the world, I can imagin my aunties telling me in their typical kashmiri accent ''Waddi aayi designer jacket ki kuch lagti''

u can wear floral prints...i mean look at faiza samees's prints they are overloaded...but in salwar kameez it looks fine and something different! but what to hell should this be...perhaps umar sayeed wants to be like the haute couture designers like in paris...u can watch at them..but never wear them!
I'm a fan of US.. but lately his work is scaring me! These jackets are great for photoshoots.. I wudn't buy them though.
Ziggy, I went to Soiree a boutique that carries Nilofer Shahid, US, Nayna, Sarah Shahid.. and there was a hideous jacket (black white and red) for dhs. 12,000.. I'd buy a Bunto Gharara instead!
There's a fashion show tomorrow called Asian Fashion Extravagana, if this is what he'll be showcasing.. i think i'll pass!

i have a similar jacket. I'll try to post pic soon. I am 5'9 inches tall. It looks nice when i wear it with jeans.
if u r really into them then keep the length shorter as in pic 6.even #9 is not that bad for a tall gal.i’m not so sure but i think floral with large,bold prints is in for this spring (western clothing i meant)as i saw some designer dresses n jackets with large,bold prints.i like this one much better than US design though.its by Bianca Nygard n for 138$ only

ohhh thank god, i thought i was the only person who thought they were pretty hideous. Theres a range that is sold on QVC the shopping channel here in the uk called indigo moon and these jackets remind me of the tat that is sold by that brand. i think i'll give em a miss.

They are not for everyone but I wouldn't totally reject them either. I think it depends on the setting you are in and your own personality. If I lived in Manhattan and attended chic parties, I'd wear something like that. It's masculine and makes a bold stmt...but then again I don't live that lifestyle so I'll pass...and nor do I think US designed these jackets for women like me :-) He defenitely knows that they will be picked-up by a small segment of his target market. I would also not be surprised if this triggers a trend of modified but still bold jackets in the mainstream market.

I guess queen Punk likes them as they are kind of covered and she mentioned them "looking good with a hijab". Its hard to find covered designs that you like too.
