Yeh but still part of Europe continent, I have both experience with Italian (shyt police, worst then Pak) .. and Uk.
In the end US police win, this is the useless argument they carry weapon or not. Across the Atlantic we see the incompetence of France/Greece/Italian police for controlling students/mobs/order in their respective countries. None of this ever happened here !

Two days ago their was a news, Italian police officers beat the crap out of Pakistani in suburbs of Rome... this kind a things only happen in europe, every wonder why?

You can legally drive the car because the police can find out whether your car is taxed or not by calling their control room. So no problem.

This is not the Wild West USA where every lunatic Tom dicko and harry has access to rifles and can go into a school and shoot dead his former classmates

I am not criticizing UK police or admiring USA one. I was just joking.
There is a difference in police behavior in USA amongst suburb and in city. Suburb police appears friendly while city ones appear more powerful and lethal. Law enforcing is a psychological game. Trouble makers behave better when they see an armed police officer around. Also, law abiding citizen feel secure in the presence of armed police when they are in troubled parts of the city. Its all in perspective.

Gun control is a good thing , I am all for it .. but lets not get carried away and leave a lawless society ..
2004, 30,000 guns related deaths in USA while Ganges many centuries ago killed more than 2 million people and did not use a single gun for that
