He was not only devout Muslim but a miraculous saint himself 
He used to make caps for his earning and never used Shahi khazana for his personal expenditure. Apart from fighting with the Kafirs (including some sects of Islam), he got time to hear complete Quran daily

this is sub-continent:), people have made Rawan out of Aurangzeb:), few things were strategic compulsion, he would have fought shivaji even him not being a muslim ruler,nor he was the first mughal who had trouble with the sikh gurus:), the commander of the army was Rajput king etc. Few of his acts were non-appreciable but I think he is condemned as evil more than he was, though I don’t fully agree with the theories of those who try to present much secular version either:)

Yes I do agree that he did what he think best for his power. I personally have problem with those who tries to present him like a Muslim saint.

I think those who insist on saying that he heard the Azaan on moon are not muslims. They just wants to Islam or Muslims become bad in view of others.

Very true, but unfortunately Muslims especially in sub-continent take such things for proving authenticity of the religion. You can also hear news about some fruits bearing name of Allah or Prophet regularly.
