**RAWALPINDI: Pakistan is fighting the war on terror with its own resources, said the country’s top army officials on Tuesday.

This statement was made during the Corps Commanders meeting at the force’s General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
**Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kayani chaired the Corps Commanders’ Conference. He said that steps will be taken to ensure the safe return of IDPs in Mohmand Agency.

General Kayani also added that the war on terror is being fought in Pakistan’s national interest.
The statement was made just two days after US President Barack Obama’s chief of staff, William Daley confirmed that the United States is holding back some military aid to Pakistan, after a New York Times report had earlier reported $800 million was being withheld.
Referring to the Kurram operation in today’s meeting, Kayani added that the military’s goal is to clear Kurram Agency from miscreants.
The conference reviewed the security situation in the region and the professional skills of the Pakistan Army.
The Corps Commanders were given a comprehensive briefing on the internal and external security challenges faced by Pakistan.
Earlier this month, the Pakistan army said it had launched an air and ground offensive in Kurram region on the Afghan border.

Every time the Americans come in to support Pakistan our situation gets worse off. So yes please cut off aid. Please actually just pull out of Pakistan completely. The people will be happier for it.

Pakistan should pull out its troops from Afghan Border and America will see the result of trying to hurt us and but Pakistan should end corporation with America on its own because this corporation has done more damage to Pakistan than doing anything good to us so we should end this relationship and should work for establishing a muslim block

I put Pakistan first and people who do not support my country, well tough, I will not support them regardless of which religion they are. Let me put it this way, if there was no Pakistan where would you be, think about it and let me assure you of one thing, no other muslim country would be there waiting to welcome you with open arms. Sir this concept of Nationhood was most used by Abdullah Bin Ubai to create divide among Muslims and that is why Hazrat MUHAMMAD SAW all the concepts of ignorance including Nationalism are under my feet and Iqbal also wrote against it that is why get lost in concept of Ummat so you don't remain Afghnai or Irani or Arab any more
