for most fronts it holds true frauds, deals might be made in strictly business terms but the ones actually keeping it have their intention only known to them or one other entity.

true, but once u know that its all a big game u have to learn to play it like a big game. knowing that u dont know all, but u can have theories and hypothesis which you can start validating or discarding as events unfold, and if you have an ongoing effort on plans for whichever way things start shaping up, you will be better prepared to deal with stuff..few surprises.

What is there to complain about U.S monetary support to Pakistan? One billion dollars (if correct) a year is hell of a deal for the Americans when Pakistan is doing all the dirty work for them. All the big Al-Qaida names were captured by the Pakistan military and then handed over to US authorities to brag and to take the credit. The truth is that the Pakistanis negotiated very poorly and did not look after their interests. Americans are spending 5 billion dollars a month in Iraq and what do they have to show for that money. One billion a year in Pakistan is a joke and peanuts and is not even worthy of discussion.
