i actually don't think there's anything wrong with shopping bags as a garbage bag liner. i really doubt anyone's gonna notice that it doesnt match the walls or something! :) and yup i did ask my mom to order some custom covers for our sofas in Pakistan. However, they fit perfectly around each cushion so it doesn't even look like a cover. But I'm not really feeling the nihari plug in...we have an outdoor grill/stove so our indoor one is only used for chai.
