For those who think cricket is for sissies....nobody freaks the fk out in cricket when the fielder bare hands the ball...and nobody has died playing baseball....All of the american sports, except basketball, would remain cheap and idiotic immitations of British sports.....Little wonder since the Britishers due to their inherently and infinitely more sophisticated ethos were able to efficiently run an empire spanning the globe, something the americans are having an impossible time with.....

Look folks, the average NFL Tackle goes more than 300 lbs, and is 6' 3" or more. Say what you want, put the average Cricket player on the field, even in full pads, and he will be broken like a stick before you can say "Earl Grey Tea please..."

When a 5’3" 135 lb guy can hit the ball out of the park just the same as a steroid bloated mutant american player, you wonder whats wrong with american sports…
And we are not discussing athletics here…There is more to sports then the ability to lift so much weight or run a 40 in a certain amount of time…You can take the whole track and field team and after a few practice session you can make them play any american sports…You can’t do the same with British sports..
