Of course DarkNight ! in this world, i think it’s necessary to be more than bi-lingual… if you want to quickly rise to positions of authority on an international scale…
Switzerland has two national languages (french and german) and a lot of other secular languages like romansch etc… i think it could be good for you to learn conversational french (as geneva is french speaking) and once you’re there insh’allah then your french should improve, as you’ll be speaking it on a dAily basis with your new buddies
What are you doing your research in? Is the move to geneva final? As if you’re this anxious about language barriers, i would reconsider.. anyway i think the geneva institute teaches in english… ???
I m planing to do my phd in computer security ... frm swiss .... 2nd option is UK ....coz my bro is there too ... but its alittle bit more expensive as compared to swiss ... n probability of getting scholarship is more ....n the most imp thing is ... m trying to go on my company sponsorship :p
Yeah i am doing Btec because none of the local college were offering students HND …
BTEC is not that bad and once i pass this diploma next year it should be fine. It’s equal to 3 A-levels anywayz…
InshAllah i am aiming for a Distinction (overall grade) and my plan is to pass this & next year and get training or do a private course.
But it’s just my thinking and i don’t think my parents will back me up …i still have until this september to make a final decision. And during this time i am gona research more on universities and see if they can inspire me enough to join them But first thing first i need to speak to parents first regarding this…
