Professional emails demand formalities and caution, one can't write an email like he/she posts on an online discussion board.
You have to be specific and clear about the subject of the mail, always remember the rules taught in Business Communication classes.
Infact in my opinion it's quite an advantage that our feelings and nature is not so obvious by our official emails otherwise the boss would had kicked most of us out ages ago.
