Twenty20 Cup

This is great news (old news for me). I am glad to see that the birthplace of cricket is taking steps to modify the game to fit modern-day requirements. The first modification was done in 1971 when Kerry Packer introduced limited overs version in Australia. Packer was a visionary and revolutionized the sport. I believe the time is right to take it a step farther and reduce the game from 8 hours down to 3.

That is NYA's job. After all he is your ball boy. I am just planning on cracking your balls with a wooden cricket bat.

I've watched the double wicket stuff and it is no fun compared to real cricket. I'd much rather watch Pak play Engurland or any other decent team.

Playing this kind of game is fun though but watching - not.

How about I slip into your slip? :)

No thanks. Not my thing, though i am sure NYA will give you a ball for ball report.

Let me pop into your gully with a beamer uless you duck and cover into your popping crease, eh chappie? ;)

^ make sure your beamer doesn't die at half pitch.

^ No chance Sambralian aunty, CM's crease is wide enough.

The you don't even need to worry about over-pitched.

matsui y dont u come shine my balls...... ppl say ur a good hooker of the ball.

No Ball :nono:

Kakay we are playing cricket not maraying kanchay.

who is holding bat ? Playing only with balls ? :silly:

It's ok but the best of both worlds is the current 1 day format. 50 overs makes for a good day out and you get to see a decent day's sport.

This isn't bad either I've seen a couple of games it's not too shabby, but you don't get to see any substantial innings by batsmen or decent spells of fast bowling by the bowlers.

This is heading for Khail Khilari btw.

I think 50 overs is still too much. They should have max 40.

^,^ :rotfl:

so ur not a good hooker??

Let me smack Matsui's balls for 2 sixes :D

50 overs ODI is perfect. Matty even those 5 day games are exciting now a days. You need to watch a game to know that.

Assif, I have better things to do than spend 8 hrs watching psuedo athletes (sans australians) standing around picking their noses.

So you considered the 8 hour games boring without even watching them ?

BTW - Since when loitering on a paki board was considered better than watching cricket ?:konfused:
