Samad, I just bought Samsung 40 inch LCD 1080p. Its an awesome TV. I am copying the link below. They don’t have it in 42 but in 46" above this one.
What I would recommend is to go for either Sony or Samsung. Do not go for Pioneer, Toshiba, Hitachi or JVC. Only Sony and Samsung has the best colors, and Samsung is ofcourse a winner with addons and good price. In US, you should be able to get particular model for $2100.
