if any one have an idea that which chanel i should look for or may be live coverage transmitted by any of u, plz tell me.... if not all the matches , still atleast for first game and Pak vs India game ;)

No you don't need cable, you can even watch it using a modem but it will be slow, if you have DSL, ADSL, CABLE or any other fast internet access you will get a better stream.

Guys I was wondering.. have you ever used those 8 hour or 9 hour VHS tapes on your VCR?
I want to record a few matches, but hate it when its on two tapes. Do you guys recommend 8 hour tape for cricket (convinence sake).

I use the 8 hour on EP tapes for cricket matches. Just got my 24 tapes last night. Will be taping all the big games. I usually do timer recording. Set the VCR for 3 hrs 45 minutes for the first innings and then let the tape end itself for the second innings. It's usually 8 hr and 15 minutes total tape time. I almost always get the awards ceremony and interviews at the end too.

Anyone living in the toronto region: Ryerson Univ. cricket assoc. has arranged live showing of the WC. They will be showing all matches in the downtown campus, and u can buy a "world cup pass" of $25 to watch any game u wish. Contact me if anyone's interested.

Ive ordered the Aus Vs Pak game through PPV and Ill also order Pak Vs Eng and Pak Vs India - my friends are all paying 5 bucks each to come and watch the game so Im gonna be making a profit by showing the games at home..lol!
