If a similar incident had taken place in any other major country of the world say USA, Iran, Britain, France, India or Pakistan there would have been lots of debate, and swift criticism from a lot of governments. But this time every country in the world is shying away from censuring the Chinese govt. From the way most of them are acting, it would not be wrong to conclude that most of them would be very happy if the Uighurs and their problems just disappeared from the face of the planet. It just goes to show the power the Chinese wield. The silence from USA, Europe, Australia, the Arab nations, India(which has a huge muslim population), Pakistan is deafening. All of them are chicken when it comes to standing up to the chinese.
