Re: Tsunami Appeal - Asia VS Rest of the World

Zaheer gets another wicket!!
this time Gilcrist!

Re: Tsunami Appeal - Asia VS Rest of the World

Finally Lara gets out. Caught on the boundry by Vaas off Kumble.
Looks like a high target and a low chase game.

Re: Tsunami Appeal - Asia VS Rest of the World

Let me be the first to say, we are doing terrible because of the indians :p

Re: Tsunami Appeal - Asia VS Rest of the World

haha. Eventhough the three wickets that fell so far have been taken by the Indians. Still ganguli is just a failure i guess.
Razzaq comes back and starts bowling his no balls.

Re: Tsunami Appeal - Asia VS Rest of the World

first of all it was a gr8 turnout at one of the finest grounds in world cricket i love the mcg + hats off to all of the contributors’ who managed to raise the eventual big sum for the victims of the tidal wave disaster. :k:]

the match was pretty one sided i felt, ponting played a energetic knock with good support from the legendary brian lara and chrissy cairns the way the bowlers especially mr razi 5 overs for 50 went the game was pretty muich over after 340 odd ion the board in 50 overs!!!

dravid batted very well as usual he is the ‘wall’ no doubt but he wasn’t given enough support after sehwag went… yousi sir perished cheaply i was hoping 4 a big knock by him + a gr8 comeback from injury for murali’, he is top class

Re: Tsunami Appeal - Asia VS Rest of the World

What a shame. Only two Pakistani got elected, woh bhi courtesy mein, otherwise there was no place for them, India/SL alone could make Asian XI. And they both failed terribly in their respective field of expertise. If Yohanna could paste some 60+ runs with Razzler's fast 50 in 30 balls, the result could have been different. Khair, who cares for who won and who lost. Main thing is that in international cricket, Pakistan's world class players are not even comptetative with their neighbours, let alone the gora saab.
