And how would I know that incident being reported did really happen or it was made up ? That is the problem now a days , anything can be concocted with the help of all the new technology available out there.

Mushrooming of media, especially electronic, gives people lots of options to verify if a certain news is correct or not. It also allows you to view a story from different angles. And once you know who is correct, or closest to the correct news, you can start believing in their version of news.
