Trust issues

My guesses:

  1. You are psychologically very healthy and can live with a negative incident without letting it affect the rest of your life.

  2. However, if you are blaming yourself and don’t really think the other person did you wrong (also, was it explicit that they are supposed to keep the info to themselves?), than that is not right. Forgiving is noble. Pretending to forgive is a sin against yourself.

I think it would be easy to make that decision if you look at your life and the incidents that happened recently. See if you feel like you handled them well i.e. psychologically healthily or if you ignored the problem/pretended to be ok.

P.S. I don’t know if you’re blaming yourself or taking responsibility for your actions. Obviously taking responsibility is the best thing you can do, WITHOUT any self-blame.
