**Trivia Game – **Rules

  1. When a question is being asked, all members are to remain quiet so everyone has a fair chance to hear the question the first time. I will be reading the questions over the mic. If needed, I’ll post the question into the chat once.

  2. Each team has 30 seconds to buzz in after I finish reading the question.

  3. After discussing with their partner in a separate/ private chat, only one member from each team can “buzz” in, by typing their team name. (i.e. If you’re team’s name is Hulla Golla, you would type “Hulla Golla” in the lobby.) You must type your team name. Shout outs will not be accepted.

  4. If any answer is shouted out/ typed out before I choose a team member to answer, the team that shouted out the answer will lose 50 points. :frowning:

  5. I will call on the team member who is to answer the question. That team will have 5 seconds to answer after the team name is announced.

  6. If multiple members buzz in at the same time, I will chose a member from a different team to chose a member, from the teams that buzzed in, to answer.

  7. The team member to answer a question correctly chooses the next category and point value. (I’ll let you know which ones are left.)

  8. Each category has a hidden **STAR **question. If the STAR question is chosen, before the question is asked, each team must donate between 150 to 500 points to the pool. The amount in the pool will be added to the original point value of the question. The total points will all be awarded to the team that buzzes in first and answers the question correctly.

  9. Most important – HAVE FUN!! Show sportsmanship and stay courteous to all members. No name calling, no arguing/ fighting. Harassing of any sort will not be tolerated at all. All Chat and GS rules still apply.
