errr... train taking longer than car? on 401 / 403 / QEW ? but yeah, if you want to take 407 (Toll Route), then that's alright.

Otherwise, I'd suggest taking the train for sure... the only downside are the timings. I think trains only run during a certain time period during the day... buses on the other hand, run late into the night.

Budy i work in toronto, i drive every single day from hamilton east to toronto, and believe me its 45 mins (yeah rush hour is more than an hour) but once i travelled from train and i was told from Go station girl that u have to wait 35 mins then u will take a bus to burlington and then u will wait an other 15 minutes and then u will get the train to toronto, and guess wat, train was 7 minutes late cuz of weather. it was a headache.

That route sounds like an alternative indirect route.

I've taken the go train to/from Union station to Hamilton multiple times... typical travel time is less than 30 mins.

On the Express Go Bus, it takes about 50 minutes.

i guess for that comfort everything is supposed to be pre planed.
i think when i travelled it was weekend, i dono it makes any difference or no

aah - that might be why... cuz go trains only run during weekdays - or at least that's how it used to be a few years back.

them. we both had US/Canadian passports, everything was legit but still the customs officer was being a prick abt all of it, and they started asking us all sorts of stupid Qs like how we’ll manage, how we met, our situation etc. she even told me that i can never come back to canada… err okay.

Why did she tell you, you can’t come back to Canada???

so everything was all set and I got a training on that particular weekend.. probably I should just take that as a hint and stay here!!!

Sara.. my friend was trying to check Amtrack so she doesnt have to drive but there wasn't any service from our state so that's out as well!!! :-(
