You only have a match when you enter a dark and cold room. You come across an oil lamp, an oil heater, and a candle. Which do you light first?

Re: Tricky questions and brain teasers

Candle!
You don't know if the oil heater and lamp has oil.

Re: Tricky questions and brain teasers

match

Re: Tricky questions and brain teasers

The match! :)

Ok, here:

A man is found lying dead, face down in the middle of the desert. He is wearing a backpack. His ribs are crushed. The post mortem shows that he died, suddenly, 2 months ago. Yet no one has crossed the desert for 3 months.

What happened?

The match is the right answer

He jumped out of plane and his backpack which is actually his parachute didn't open.

Re: Tricky questions and brain teasers

It is a very big cube. In Hungry Horace’s kitchen there were three tins. Each tin contained three delicious cakes: One night Horace crept into the kitchen, opened the three tins, and ate three of the cakes. The surprising thing was, when Horace went back to bed, each tin still contained three cakes. How did he do it? Were they REALLY magic cakes?

Solution:

Horace ate the cakes in the large tin, then he put the middle tin into the empty tin.
