Triangular Series (AUS-IND-NZ)

well the Proteas don’t get screwed by weather all the time but sometimes yeah they do - recent World Cup is the proof.

whenever i think of Proteas - they remind me Redsox of MLB and Dutch Soccer Club - all of them have good players but just couldn’t get to acheieve main titles over the years - hopefully all of them will do in years to come.

I think in 92 world cup they were screwed too when they were asked to score 22 off 1 ball.

yes - that is correct Changez_like but when you look at 96 and 99 world cup - South Africa were almost there to clinch the title - in 96 they were unbeaten in their pool but booted out by the West Indies in a QF - in 99 South Africa were much better side than the Australia but lost both of the games - oh man that semi-final when Proteas lost in a dramatic fashion

but things don’t look good for South Africa ever since Graeme Smith is being named skipper - i don’t like that asshole at all - and what he has done to Lance Klusner - he shouldn’t be in the team - and if the UCBSA are really looking to change things were as they were under Hanse Cronje and Shaun Pollock era - they better fired Graeme Smith and re-assign either Shaun Pollock or Mark Boucher as a Captain.

Gwalior 2nd ODI : India vs Aus

INDIA won the toss

sehwag gone

India : 1/1 (0.3)
(R.R.: 2)

Batsman Runs Balls

S Tendulkar 0 0

VVS Laxman 0 1

Bowler 0 M R W

N Bracken 0.3 0 1 1

Last Man
V Sehwag 0 (3)

india 107/1 off 21 overs.

Tendulkar 62
Laxman 40

India 192/2 off 39.2 overs.

SR Tendulkar c Gilchrist b Bracken 100 (119b 9x4 1x6) SR: 84.03

39.2 Bracken to Tendulkar, OUT: just short of a good length and outside
the off, the ball holds its line, Tendulkar tries to play a fine
cut and feathers an edge to the keeper! Big breakthrough this for
Australia

India have made a more than healthy 284 for 5 in 50 overs.
Australia will have to fight hard under lights to win this one
Can they do it? Will India hold on for a win? All that and much
more after this 40-minute break!

Let's see whether Cricinfo's prediction comes true or the Aussie juggernaut continues on its demolition path.

We better get some wickets now. Aussies hit Zaheer and Agarkar around for 50 runs! Kumble and Harbhajan on now and seem to be containing them a bit

Australia 139 for 2 after 26.5.

Comeon Zaheer! Time to get Hayden out. (and a few more quickly Kumbleji)

140 for 3 after 27.3. Good job Kumble - Hayden is gone

Awright! Symmonds gone! Let's get Bevan now. Go Zaheer! 141 for 4

India has amassed a big total but not big enough considering today’s cricket standards and aussies. If Bevan stays till the end then India has no chance..
Kumble’s remaining overs are crucial from India’s perspective. India has no fifth bowler which can really hurt them. Interesting match so far.

Guess who is bowling now, Yuvraj Singh :)

Awright! Two more wickets! 176 for 6 Australia. Sehwag just bowled Martyn & Bevan!

Tommy, India just got lucky with Sehwag :) Do you agree?. I say they should play a fifth bowler in the next match. A quality spinner would help...

No - India got lucky in McGrath Lee and Gillespie not showing up.

189 for 7 after 39 overs. Tendulkar got a wicket.
Actually Sehwag is getting a nagging line but nothing that'll trouble top order

If I were you I'd have more faith in India's batting.

Ofcourse I have faith. It is the best batting line up in the world. Australia happens to be a close second in batting and a league ahead in bowling when any two of those three show up.

...even 1 of those 3 is enough to destroy a team...
