Treatment of Christians in Pakistan [Split]

Re: World's Youngest Terrorist

Alright, thanks. :D

Re: Treatment of Christians in Pakistan [Split]

If this is indeed true, how sad. It's amazing how we can manage to fulfill the pillars of Islam such as praying five times a day (which is not easy to do) BUT we can't follow the principles of Islam that are FAR MORE BASIC than the 5 pillars such as respect for human life. Even in the Quran, we're told not to transgress our limits. We're told not to hurt others unless harm has been inflicted on us first.

When you hear about the atrocities in Pakistan, sometimes you think that the Muslim world itself is somewhat responsible for making Islam look bad (extremism, honor killings, etc). This just provides fuel for Western media and they don't wast any time in take advantage of our monstrous mistakes.

Re: Treatment of Christians in Pakistan [Split]

:chai: Nice conversation.

I am beginning to suspect my own religion fellows now. Sometimes its Muslim vs Hindues, Muslims vs Ahmadees, Muslims vs Aghakhaniz, and sometimes its Muslims vs Christians of Pakistan.

I wouldnt support nither of these parties but I’ll tell this. I graduated from ST.Judes, a private school in J block of North Nazimabad which is run by Christians. I never had a problem living / studying with them. They are the most humble to everyone because at some point we learned that we cant live against each other. Also one of the Imams of my community said a very good thing once that I follow. “Upnay mazham ko choro mat, aor duusray mazhabon ko chaero mat.”

So today I dont know what muslims have been following, but it is seriously not Islam. And Islam seriously does not teach us to slaughter non-muslims and raid on them.
