Re: Travelling from Pakistan to US using two passports
I was kind of in the same situation when I was travelling to UK on my British passport, but I had no Pakistani passport. The Pakistanis at immigration were a little upset wondering why I did not have a Pakistani visa or proof of citizen ship (I only had my national ID card which they did not care much about) but they let me through telling me that I needed a Pakistani passport the next time or a visa for Pakistan. In the UK they did not say a word. I too was stamped on my parents' passport but no one even asked about that, even though I was going after many years.
Re: Travelling from Pakistan to US using two passports
why dont you book your travel to the US through a country where you do not need a visa or get one on arrival on your pakistani passport, that way leave pakistan for that country, on arriving there make your entry on your US passport, then fly out of that country to the US on your US passport.
Re: Travelling from Pakistan to US using two passports
I'm in houston. Didn't get into any trouble, except for a security check at Dubai(age, skin color, had to happen). And they held me for about half an hour at the Bush airport. It wasn't bad though. The officer who interviewed me was nice, and not trying to hide anything helped too(didn't have anything to hide).
At the Karachi airport I was escorted to the waiting lounge by someone mom knew works inside the airport. That helped a lot, cause Karachi airport is confusing as heck and scary too. That guy was great, getting to the airport at 2 a.m for me, when he barely knew me.
Besides they just scanned the first page of my Pakistani passport and didn't look any further.

Thanks.
Houston's treating me great, but I miss home. And this place is huge. Can't go anywhere unless you have a car, unlike Karachi where you can walk or take a bus to almost anywhere inside the city.

Yup...That's what sucks...no real mass transit system
