why transition? they both fill different voids. you can wear a pajama and you can wear a banyaan, but they dont replace each other. :\

for me personally, if i have an interest in a certain topic and want to know more about it - like mating habits of monkeys of africa - i find non-fiction books and curiosity makes it easy reading. lots of ahaa moments.

but that isn’t even hitting the same spot as reading a good work of fiction while lying in bed balancing chai cup on tummy. more like a slow lazy indulgence.

reading a non-fiction book on a topic that doesnt interest you is pure torture. dont do it pal.
