AHH i loved voltron! honestly, i liked voltron better than transformers. there was just something so psychedelic about voltron. imagine a 5 year old watching it :rotato: muahaha.

i never got into transformers though i remember all the kids liking them a lot. i was really into dubbed japanese cartoons (in arabic) that used to play on Oman tv. Voltron was one (the original version with the 5 tigers, not the later weird bird things) but what we really liked was this cartoon called “Raad ul Imlaq”, known in its japanese and other versions as Super Robot / Tetsujin 28. Anyone ever heard of it?
(the arabic intro song was much better)
There was also Captain Majid who was hugggge .. which was sorta okay if only for the surreal arabic football commentary on japanese anime

^ Yeah, he was slick! He used transform into a little cassette and get into soundwave, who’d transform into a big boombox!
