Toys you hate

Re: Toys you hate

Anything that makes sounds, is messy (glitter glue, make up etc.) and with small parts.

Re: Toys you hate

^ ditto that.

Re: Toys you hate

Barbies - my children and nieces will not possess any

Bratz dolls - same

Any provacatively dressed dolls

There is a guitar Sumaiya is obsessed with these days and all she does is play it day and night. I am hiding it tonight…:mad2:

Re: Toys you hate

i wish my daughter was obsessed with her toys and i wish some of them kept her busy! Sigh! She only plays with her doll quite a bit, puts her to bed, asks her if she wants food while she herself is eating etc. I dont detest any of her toys, really, except this vtech guitar shaped thing taht you hang on the side of your crib. That was the only think i have found annoying so far. Rest, whatever keeps her busy, i am ok with.

Re: Toys you hate

I am with Ira. So far, nothing has annoyed me.

Re: Toys you hate

When I was younger I didn’t find toys that appealing, destroying most of them.

But I hate electronic toys with thier fancy gadgetry which last about a minute in the hands of an active child. Particularly annoying are those ride on electric cars… :aj:

I remember the flintsone type push along cars and they were much better, quicker too. :biggthumb:

Re: Toys you hate

OMG no way! My favourite game whenever I go into a toy shop is to pull the strings of all the toys on the shelf, set them off and run away. Then, I watch them from a distance.. funny sight! :rotfl:

So sad, I know.

I hate barbie though :emmy:

Re: Toys you hate

^ that! especially, play dough, whoever invented that obviously didn't appreciate clean carpet.

Re: Toys you hate

But I love playdough and still play with it even though i’m 27 and maybe a bit too old to play… My job used to involve making clay models of cars :hehe:

Re: Toys you hate

All toys that need a battery. We have a rule in our house, NO toys with batteries. Toys with batteries make noise and shiny lights and give a child immediate gratification without having to use his/her imagination at all. Old fashioned, toys made of wood enrich a child's imagination. I see it myself, my nieces have nothing but battery operated, loud, shiny toys. They move from toy to toy and have very short attention spans. My kid will play with a sock for half an hour straight without getting bored and you can tell she is using her imagination. I actually saw her playing with a sock one day and making these strange motions, I asked her what it was (the sock), she said "it's a fishy swimming in the pool".

Re: Toys you hate

^ Waah kya haseen andaaz hain aap ka. :lajawab:

I agree with you 100% Maybe thats why I kept destroying my own electrical toys as a child becuase I wasn’t playing with them as I should have.
