How did Bazid Khan do?
The people under the selector's radar for a place in the starting 11 were:
Bazid Khan
Saeed Bin Nasir
Shahid Afridi
Asim Kamal
None of them scored a 50. But Afridi came close because he played his usual self. From an article in the Jang, it sounds like Shoaib Malik will retain his place in the test 11 so only the #6 slot is free. Time will tell who gets the selector's nod. Fawad Alam, Asim Kamal, Yasir Arafat, Afridi.
I say, take out Shoaib Malik and play Fawad Alam and #6 for Asim Kamal.
We shall see.
