I visit Niagara Falls at least once a year and I love it! I can never and will never tire of its sheer beauty. :p
Another favourite spot of mine in Toronto is Yorkville. Nothing spectacular .... designer shops, fancy restaurants, it's where the rich go to play. I like it cause of the way it is designed. It's a nice place to walk around on a warm night.

You have seen it ten times so its boring... for you, yes. Not for a visitor. :p
For example, I have seen Golden Gate Bridge, like a zillion times, but it still awes every visitor to San Francisco. We have taken the boat cruise in the San Francisco Bay atleast 10 times, but it still is an amazing experience for a tourist. So we take all our guests there and they enjoy every minute of it. We don't take our personal likes to guide a tourist. That will be way too selfish and inaccurate. Anyway, I have been to Niagara from Canadian side three times, and if someone's not been there even once, I can honestly say they should check it out atleast once, if they have the opportunity.

Very well said. Its the same thing with me and the sights of NY City. Chachi Liberty, Empire State (strikes back?), and before - the twin Towers.
But i still get a thrill when i see the NY skyline.
Okay so anyway I've got myself doing something justifying going to Toronto now, the schedule is pretty full but I should get an afternoon off somewhere inbetween the trip to Colorado so here are a few shortlisted places let me know where you'd go for an afternoon off around Toronto:
CN tower
sky dome
china town (spadina)
gerrard street (lil India Pakistan)
danforth ( little Greek, all greek restaurants good food :k: )
just a walk in downtown, front street, front harbour.
Central Island
check out some plays at theaters. right now they are playing “the producers” at princes of wales theater i think.
also the famous “mama mia” is being played as well.
also if u are going to Niagra, do visit all the strawberry and wine fields. I am not sure if its the strawberry picking season right now or not.
check out paramount's wonderland as well.
They have a lot of nice places outside of Toronto as well if you are willing to drive forty-five minutes to an hour west and north of the city ... Muskoka, Terra Cotta, Simcoe area, Algonquin Park .... all natural, loads of lakes with crystal clear and warm water, some mountains, etc. Actually, you are coming in Autumn so it'll be quite pretty but chilly.
I haven't had a proper vacation for years, I mostly travel for work so not a lot of time site seeing lately. So it is just one afternoon off this trip out of 2-3weeks traveling.
I remember I was excited about visiting Venezuela and Trinidad a couple of years ago but spent almost all of that time in the office. I much prefer my field work days in jungles and up mountains.
I think it would be rude going to Toronoto and not going to Niagra falls so that's my destination....if I get time!
